A crash involving three cars and a bicycle has left a man seriously injured.
The cars were driving on the A260 Canterbury Road towards Densole when they collided in Hawkinge, sending one of the vehicles into the path of the cyclist who was riding on the pavement in the opposite direction.
A police spokesman said: “At 1.50pm on Sunday, April 30, a silver Ford Focus, a white VW Golf and a Green Toyota Aygo were traveling along the A260 Canterbury Road towards Densole, when they were involved in a collision.

“The cyclist, a man in his 60s, was treated for injuries at the scene and then taken to a London hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.”
