A county lines drug dealer has been jailed after he was caught throwing crack cocaine out of a window.

Following a police investigation, officers identified Joshua Goldring-Wells, 26, as someone who was travelling from London to Folkestone to sell the substance along with heroin.

He had been operating in the town between December 2019 and last month.

On Wednesday, March 11, police carried out a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at a property in Warren Road.

As officers approached the property’s front door, they saw Goldring-Wells throw a small washbag out of a window.

The bag, which contained around £900 in cash and a quantity of crack cocaine, was found and seized by officers.

He was then discovered in the bedroom of the house and was arrested.

A search of the room revealed a glass jar full of heroin wraps, hidden under the bed.

Scales, along with other drug dealing paraphernalia, cling film, and small plastic bags were also found at the property.

Goldring-Wells, of Grove Street, Deptford, south London was sentenced to five years and eight months in prison when he appeared at Canterbury Crown Court on Wednesday.

He admitted two counts of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply, and two counts of being concerned in supplying Class A drugs.

Detective Constable Pete Frampton said: "Goldring-Wells was identified by our team as someone who was supplying drugs in Folkestone, and would stay at the Warren Road property when he was in town to peddle his illegal trade.
