Traffic building after crash on A20 Coastbound near Folkestone

Commuters faced delays folowing a crash on the A20 coastbound near Folkestone.

The incident, between a car and a motorbike, occurred just past the Roundhill Tunnel, between the M20 junction 13 (Castle Hill Interchange) and the Court Wood Interchange junction.

Police attended the scene, and one lane was closed due to a fuel spillage in the carriageway.

Highways England also declared that a vehicle at the scene, believed to be the motorbike, had caught fire.

Traffic congestion has now eased in the area, although the lane remains closed.

No injuries have been reported.
