A restaurant in Folkestone was targeted twice by thieves on two consecutive weekends.

A till, safe and cash have been reported stolen following break-ins at Gurkha Palace restaurant in Enbrook Valley.

The burglary is believed to have happened overnight between Saturday, February 9 and Sunday, February 10.

The money, which included staff tips and a charity collection box, was discovered missing along with a quantity of alcohol.

Police officers carried out a number of enquiries including the review of CCTV and are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

The both suspects are thought to be men, with one of a medium build, around 5ft, 5ins tall and wearing a grey tracksuit.

The other man is believed to be shorter and was also wearing a tracksuit. Both had their faces covered.

But following the report the business was targeted for a second time between Saturday, February 16 and Sunday, February 17 where alcohol was taken.
