E-fits released after unprovoked attack

POLICE investigating an unprovoked assault on a 51-year-old man have released two e-fits of the suspect.

The victim was walking along Cheriton Road, Folkestone, near Brockman Road, at about 1.40pm on Monday, November 20, when he was approached by a man who punched him in the face.

The victim fell to the ground and suffered a cut. The attacker then casually walked away.

The offender is described as a white man, aged in the mid 20s to early 30s, of medium build, with short dark hair that was either spiky or straight. He was wearing a dark brown leather jacket and dark jeans.

Police would also like to trace a man on a moped who took a photograph of the offender using his mobile phone.
