Fire fighters got to Channel Close, Folkestone, at 9pm and spent two hours putting it out.

Watch manager Vic Thorogood said the occupants were home but no one was injured.

Mr Thorogood said: "It was contained to the kitchen by fire fighters who were wearing breathing apparatus and used hoses."
