A road has been closed for a week by severe fly-tipping.

Church Hill, between Hawkinge and Folkestone, was shut last Wednesday to allow for officers to deal with the mess.

The fly-tipping seems to be predominantly made up of construction debris and sand.

Motorists are asked to use alternative routes due to the closure, which affects the road between Alkham Valley Road and Flegis Court Lane.

Work is due to be completed by this Wednesday at the latest.
