POLICE have renewed their appeal for witnesses seven days after a teenage girl had her teeth knocked out when a brick was thrown at a car she was sitting in.

The unprovoked attack happened at about 8.30pm on Thursday, May 4, when the 17-year-old girl was in the back seat of a car with friends at the Dome Amusement Arcade in Lower Sandgate Road, Folkestone

A group of men started throwing missiles and bricks at the car, and one of the bricks smashed through a window hitting the victim in the head.

Six local men have been arrested and questioned in connection with the incident and have been released on police bail while officers make further enquiries.
