A five-year-old girl had to be taken to hospital after falling down an escalator at Primark in Folkestone.
The child reportedly fell down two steps on the escalators and injured her back.
Paramedics were called to the store in the Bouverie Place shopping centre at 2.50pm yesterday.
An ambulance service spokesman said they sent a paramedic car and an ambulance.
She was taken to hospital to be checked over.
The escalator was believed to have been closed off by the store following the incident.
