Girl ‘bitten by Staffordshire Bull Terrier’ near The Leas in Folkestone

A girl was bitten by a dog described as a Staffordshire bull terrier, in Folkestone.

Police are investigating a report of a dangerous dog after the incident near The Leas at around 2.30pm on Saturday, October 28.

The dog's owner is described as a white man in his late 50s and is around 5ft 9ins.

He wore dark trousers, a black jacket and grey hat.

No serious injuries were reported and officers are working to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
