Comedians Harry Hill and Vic Reeves have been spotted filming at a popular Kent landmark.

The pair, who both live in the county, were pictured alongside production staff on Folkestone Harbour Arm this afternoon.

It is not known what was being filmed but both were seen painting on blank canvases on picnic tables close to the end of the Arm.

Reeves, whose real name is Jim Moir, enjoys painting at his home in Charing near Ashford.

The former Shooting Stars host said in 2021 how he paints in the nude at his home - creating art which has gained a big following in recent years.

Hill, whose real name is Matthew Hall, grew up in Staplehurst and trained as a neurosurgeon at the University of London before turning to comedy.

The former TV Burp presenter received an honorary degree from the University of Kent in 2014 and now lives in Whitstable.

The second series of Painting Birds With Jim And Nancy Moir will be airing this year - a show Reeves hosts with model wife Nancy.

It follows the pair as they explore beauty spots in Britain with a celebrity guest, creating an original piece of bird art in each episode.

Netflix drama Who Is Erin Carter? was also filmed in Folkestone in recent years, with producers using the Harbour Arm, The Stade and Court Approach Road.

KentOnline revealed last month how seven new businesses are set to open at the Harbour Arm in March as its popularity continues to grow.

A sushi bar and homeware store will be among the new additions at the site, which opened to the public in 2014 following a redevelopment programme.
