Two assaulted during robbery in Stone Street, Stanford, near Hythe

Two people were assaulted after four men forced entry into their home and demanded money.
The vicious attack took place in Stone Street, Stanford, a village close to Hythe, yesterday afternoon.
The homeowners, both men, were hurt during the robbery, with one suffering a face injury.
A post being shared on Facebook reports the victims had bags placed over their heads and were tied up.
The neighbour said one man managed to escape and call police.
The post reads: "Just wanted to make people aware there has been a house robbery just down my road.
"Four guys masked with eastern European accents tied the two guys up and beaten [them] with bags over their heads.
"One of the victims managed to escape and ran and ended up on my doorstep.
"Hubby brought him in and called 999 immediately. They are still here and we have been told the other victim is free and OK.
"The paramedics are treating guy here and then taking him to a safe place.
"Feeling very shaky right now, please be vigilant and careful. Very dangerous men."
Car keys and a mobile phone were taken during the robbery.
Police are now hoping any witnesses will come forward with information.
They confirmed they were called to the scene at at 3.34pm.
"Two occupants are reported to have been assaulted by four men, who forced entry to a house and demanded money," said a police spokesman.
"One of the occupants is reported to have sustained a facial injury.
"Officers attended the scene and carried out a search of the area and enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing."
