Man needed hospital treatment after altercation and assault in Folkestone

A man fell and hit his head after being attacked near Folkestone town centre.
The victim, aged in his 30s, was walking along the grass verge by the junction with Middelburg Square and Shellons Street, near the Asda supermarket, when he was set upon.
Two men assaulted him, and as he fell to the ground he hit a head.
He was taken to hospital with a cut to his head.
A woman who had just got off a bus shouted at the two men and they ran away.
Police officers are investigating the incident, which happened just before 9pm on Monday.
One suspect was described as white, 18 years old, 5ft 10 with a slim build.
He had messy ginger hair.
He had cropped hair and was wearing a vest and tracksuit bottoms.
Investigating officer PC Stuart Goodban said: "There were a number of people in the area at the time this incident took place, and we would like to appeal to those who have not yet spoken to officers, to come forward.
"In particular we would like to speak to the woman who called out as she may have information which could help our investigation."
