Huge police response after assault in Foord Road in Folkestone

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of assault after an incident in Folkestone yesterday afternoon.
Officers were called to Foord Road just after 3.30pm to reports a man had been hurt.
The ambulance service also attended and treated the man for minor injuries.

Police spokesman Martin Very said: “Two men from Folkestone aged 41 and 19, and one man, 36, from Brookland were arrested on suspicion of assault.
“A 39-year old Folkestone man was arrested for a public order offence.”
All four have been bailed to return to the police station on Sunday, December 11 pending further inquiries."
Foord Road was closed while police investigated the assault but has now reopened.
Initial reports suggested someone had been stabbed, but the nature of the assault has not been confirmed.
