Police investigate attack in Cheriton Place, Folkestone after two women are punched in the face

The hunt is on for a man who reportedly punched two women in the face and pushed them to the floor.
Police have launched an investigation into the late night assault, which happened in Cheriton Place, Folkestone.
The two victims, aged 18 and 23, reported being hit in the face and knocked to the floor by someone they knew.
They both suffered injuries.
The attack happened between 11pm and 1am on Saturday, October 26, close to the corner that meets Sandgate Road.
Witnesses are now being asked to get in touch with police.
A spokeswoman for the force said: "Officers investigating the incident believe there were a number of people in the nearby area at the time who may have witnessed the incident.
"Anyone with information is urged to come forward as soon as possible."

This attack came 24 hours after another woman in the town was left with a fractured skull after falling and hitting her head in Canterbury Road, near the Black Bull pub.
A man was arrested over on suspicion of assault and has since been released under investigation.
