A man has died following an industrial incident in Folkestone.
Paramedics and police were called to the business in Park Farm Industrial Estate in the town earlier this morning.
But it has been confirmed that the man, aged in his 20s, died at the scene.
Police are now investigating at the scene in Park Farm Close and working with colleagues from the Health and Safety Executive.
The air ambulance landed on school playing fields at the nearby Folkestone Academy to help paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance service.
Police were called at 11.48am after reports of the accident and have taken charge of the investigation.
Ambulance service spokesman Rich Airey said: "Sadly it's a fatal incident on the Park Farm Industrial Estate.
"We were called at 11.45am and sent three paramedic cars and one ambulance.
"We also had the air ambulance join us at the scene.
"But despite the best effort of all those at the scene one man was pronounced dead."
Dan Farrant, who runs Farrant Removals in the road, said: "It was a really sad incident next door to us, we understand it was a fatal incident today and our thoughts are with the family and all involved.
"The police, ambulances and air ambulance were at the scene very quickly."
A nearby worker, who did not wish to be named, said: "I saw an air ambulance helicopter which landed and paramedics car.
"It's a bit shocking, it's not the kind of thing that usually happens just around the corner."
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to a reported industrial incident in Park Farm Close, Folkestone, at 11.48am on Thursday 16 November 2017.
"Officers attended and provided support for medical crews and a man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene.
