Inquest opens into the death of Mohini Arora, 25, who died after a crash on the M20 junction 11a

An inquest has opened into the death of 25-year-old Mohini Arora who died when her car swerved off the road on the M20.

Miss Arora was thrown from her grey BMW as it left the road at junction 11a at the Channel Tunnel in Folkestone on Sunday, November 13 at about 10pm.

Despite the paramedics' best efforts, the young woman, who was born in India and was living in London, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her inquest was opened at The Archbishop’s Palace, Maidstone, this morning.

The court heard Miss Arora was thrown from her car during the crash.

A postmortem examination carried out at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford revealed she died from a head and neck injury.

The inquest was adjourned to a provisional date of Tuesday, December 13.

Two 25-year-old men, one from Gillingham and one from Chatham, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

They were released on police bail until Thursday, March 23 next year.

It is understood she had studied at Regent’s University in London and was working for marketing firm AJG Direct, also in the capital.

The police are still appealing for witnesses to the incident.
