One of Britain's best loved comics is going to perform a one-off gig in Kent.
Jo Brand today announced she is visiting Folkestone's Quarterhouse venue later this year.
Her 'Work in Progress 2015' show will test some of her brand new material on audiences.
Brand is also renowned for her TV appearances including on BBC's 'Have I Got News For You' recently hosting the show's general election special and presenting 'The Great British Bake Off' spin-off show 'An Extra Slice'.
She will head to The Quarterhouse on Friday, November 6 at 8pm.
It is the first stand-up show Brand has done for several years as she returns to her roots.
During her break she also wrote the BBC series 'Getting On', for which she won a BAFTA, set on a hospital's geriatric ward and inspired by her earlier career as a nurse.
Tickets go on sale from noon today (Friday, June 12).
Visit The Quarterhouse website to book tickets and more information.
