A lorry has crashed into a set of traffic lights on a busy route.

The police received a report of the collision just before 11.30am in Pavilion Road, Folkestone.

The traffic light post remains bent but the police have confirmed the Highways Agency has been called.

A police spokesman said: "No injuries were reported and the road remains open."
