Man admits 30 serious sex offences

MICHAEL TULLY: will be sentenced in March

A 58-year-old man is facing a jail sentence after pleading guilty to a catalogue of 30 serious sexual offences with a girl.

Michael Tully, formerly of Warren Close, Folkestone, will be sentenced on March 31 following the preparation of probation and psychiatric reports.

Tully admitted six charges of indecency with a child, 11 charges of indecent assault, nine charges of rape, two of taking indecent photographs of a child and two other serious sexual offences.

The prosecution accepted his not guilty pleas to 10 others charges.

Judge Andrew Patience, QC, said he would have to consider a sentence for public protection.
