Man and woman from Folkestone accused of assaulting woman, 80s, during Dymchurch raid

A duo accused of assaulting an elderly woman inside her home and swiping jewellery, cash and keys have been charged.

Anthony Foord, 45, and Amie Lynn, 38, of Folkestone, are accused of targeting her Dymchurch house on Saturday, April 13, at around 5.40am.

Anthony Foord, 45, of Cherry Garden Avenue, Folkestone and Amie Lynn, 38, of no fixed address appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today

Police arrested Foord, of Cherry Garden Avenue and Lynn, of no fixed abode, later the same morning.

Jewellery, cash and keys are said to have been stolen during the raid.

Having been held on remand, both suspects were charged with aggravated burglary and appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today.

Lynn faces a further charge of assaulting an emergency worker.
