Man arrested over 'death threats' at public toilets across Folkestone

A man has been arrested on suspicion of making a series of death threats at public toilets across Folkestone this morning.
The 36-year-old is in police custody after officers were called to reports of concern for public safety.
A Kent Police spokesman confirmed the force received information this morning that sparked the fears.
Officers advised Shepway District Council to close public toilets while they carry out investigations.

The toilets affected were in Pleydell Gardens, Radnor Park, Somerset Road, Leas Cliff Hall, the Coastal Park and the Stade.
A council spokesman said it expected the facilities to reopen this afternoon.
