Man dies after falling from cliffs in Capel Le Ferne, near Folkestone, near Battle of Britain memorial

A man died after falling from a cliff near Folkestone.
Police, fire crews, paramedics and the coastguard were called to Capel Le Ferne at 1,30pm after reports of concern for the welfare of a man.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and a report will be completed for the coroner.
His next of kin have been informed.
At least three police cars, an ambulance and two tactical response vehicle were seen near the Battle of Britain Memorial yesterday afternoon.
The Kent Air Ambulance was also present alongside a coastguard helicopter aiding in the incident – but left just before 7pm.
A coastguard spokesperson said: "At 1.22pm today, HM Coastguard received a report of a person in difficulty on the cliff face at Capel-le-Ferne, near Folkestone.
"Dover Coastguard sent Folkestone, Deal and Langdon Coastguard Rescue Teams to locate the person and complete a technical rope rescue, to take the person to a place of safety.
"This is an ongoing multi-agency incident response - we have been working with Kent Police, Kent Fire and Rescue Service and South East Coast Ambulance Service."
