A man has died in hospital following a flat fire in Folkestone.
Around 15 emergency service vehicles were called to the blaze in Grace Hill last month.
A 45-year-old man was taken to hospital suffering burns and the effects of breathing in smoke, but has since died from his injuries.
Officers are not treating the death as suspicious, a police spokesman said.
Fire crews were called to the first floor flat at 9.30am on Friday, February 20 to tackle the blaze and paramedics rushed the victim to hospital.
However, the man succumbed to his injuries a few days after the fire.
A report is being prepared for the coroner and an investigation into the cause remains ongoing.
Firefighters extinguished the flames and extracted smoke from the building. Grace Hill was closed for several hours while crews dealt with the incident.
