Folkestone stabbing leaves man, in 20s, in hospital following fight in Watkin Road

A man was rushed to hospital after being stabbed.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was hurt after a disturbance broke out in Watkin Road in Folkestone at 10pm last night.

The brawl was reported to have started in a house, but continued onto the street where the man was stabbed in the leg.

Kent Police and paramedics were called to the scene and the man was taken to hospital.

Four suspects are now being hunted, who had all left the area before officers arrived.

Detectives are now carrying out house to house inquiries and reviewing CCTV in an attempt to identify the people responsible.

The suspects are described as black men, aged between late teens and 20 years old.

They were seen wearing dark clothing with hooded tops.

Any witnesses are asked to contact police with information.

In addition, anyone with dashcam footage from Watkin Road or neighbouring streets between 9.30pm and 10.30pm are also asked to come forward.
