Man taken to hospital after police and ambulances descend on Foord Road, Folkestone

A man has been taken to hospital after police and ambulance crews descended on a residential street.

Emergency services were called to Foord Road in Folkestone just after 4pm after concerns were raised about the man's welfare.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police and Secamb attended a private address in Foord Road, Folkestone following a report of concern for welfare at 4.15pm on Wednesday 7 September.

"A man has been taken to hospital."

The nature or extent of the man's injuries have not been revealed.
