Folkestone pensioner alleged to have sexually touched four girls in town

A man has been charged after four alleged assaults on girls.

The last incident happened in the Road of Remembrance in Folkestone on Sunday afternoon.

Hammond has been remanded to appear at Canterbury Crown Court

Isaac Hammond, 79, of Marine Terrace, Folkestone, has been charged with sexual touching a girl after he allegedly ran his hand up her leg and made inappropriate comments.

He was also charged with two further counts of sexual touching in relation to similar incidents that happened on a bus in Folkestone on Saturday.

The fourth charge was in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a girl near Harbour Street on Thursday, March 21.

Hammond has appeared before Margate Magistrates' Court and has been remanded in custody to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, July 1.
