Police appeal after man robbed in Canterbury Road, Folkestone

Police are appealing for witnesses and reviewing CCTV after a man was reportedly robbed in Folkestone.

The incident took place in Canterbury Road just before 3am this morning.

A man in his 20s reports being approached by a group of men who threatened him.

The victim was hit in the head by one of the suspects as he was walking near to the junction with Gladstone Road.

He was then threatened with a knife and had money stolen.

The suspect was believed to have been aged between 17 and 18 years old with short brown hair, of medium build and wearing a dark shirt and coat.

The group was seen walking away from the victim in the direction of Black Bull Road.
