Police dog Bear helps recover stolen cigarettes and beer following Folkestone burglary

A police dog helped sniff out stolen cigarettes and alcohol following a burglary in Folkestone.
Police were called to a report of a break-in at the Co-op in Cheriton High Street at around 1.45am on Tuesday.
Good boy police dog Bear attended with officers and helped trace some of the stolen goods, including packets of cigarettes and cans of beer, to a van which was parked nearby.
Darren Foster has since been charged with going equipped to burgle, possession of a knife and burglary as part of the investigation.
Foster, 42, of Millfield, Folkestone, appeared before the town's magistrates' court on Wednesday and was remanded in custody to appear again on a date to be arranged.
