Police investigation launched after alleged assault on two men in Canterbury Road, Folkestone

Police are investigating an allegation that two men were assaulted in Canterbury Road, Folkestone, yesterday.

It is reported that the men, in their 20s, were walking along the road at about 5.20pm when the incident happened.

It is alleged they became involved in an "altercation" with another man.

A police spokesman said: "It is alleged he assaulted the two men and left the scene.

"Officers attended but did not find the offender.

"Inquiries are on going."
