Question Time will be filming in Kent just a fortnight before the EU referendum.

Host David Dimbleby will be leading the panel in Folkestone on Thursday, June 9.

The venue has this morning been confirmed as the Quarterhouse theatre in Tontine Street in the town's Creative Quarter.

The location was confirmed on the programme broadcast from Ipswich last night.

With the filming in Folkestone only two weeks before voters go to the polls to decide whether should stay in the European Union or not, the debate is set to be high-profile.

Immigration is likely to be a hot topic of discussion.

The panel has not been announced either yet.

Members of the public can apply to be in the audience via the BBC's website.
