Robbers had offered help to catch thief

Police investigating a robbery in Folkestone have released e-fits of three men they would like to trace.
Two 19-year-old men went to the Co-Op in Cheriton Road and asked a man who was riding a bike if he could buy some alcohol for them as they had forgotten their ID cards.
They handed over £10 but the man rode off on the bike and stole the money. Two men then offered to help get their money back and told them to follow them.
The victims were led down Coolinge Road and as they got to the junction with Brockman Road were taken down an alleyway, which leads to Cambridge Gardens.
When they were half way down the alleyway one of the men pulled a large kitchen knife from his waistband and told one of the 19-year-olds to hand over all his money and possessions. The offenders then ran off. The incident happened in July.
Anyone who can help police identify the people in the e-fits is asked to contact Det Con Kane Clifford on 01303 850055. Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous phone Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
