Two more events have rapidly been organised for the Nepal earthquake victims.

There will be a fundraising night at a restaurant and a collection at a football match, both during Bank Holiday weekend.

A collection takes place at the time of a Folkestone Invicta game, which kicks off from 3pm tomorrow.

It is at the 4,000-capacity Fullicks Stadium in Cheriton Road and is the play-off final against Merstham FC from Surrey.

This is for the DEC Nepal Earthquake Appeal on behalf of The Folkestone Rotary Club.

Volunteers are needed to carry out the collection and nine buckets and high-visibility vests are available.

Meanwhile the Gurkha Palace restaurant in Enbrook Valley, Folkestone, holds a fundraising curry buffet dinner from 6pm to 9pm on Bank Holiday Monday. This is also endorsed by Folkestone Rotary Club, which is overall co-ordinating events in the area.

Other local events already announced include a fundraising evening at the Everest Inn Nepalese restaurant in Hythe High Street from 6.30pm next Wednesday.
