A school is bidding to trace the owners of a little rabbit found hopping around the staff car park.

Members of staff at Folkestone Academy spotted the sandy-coloured bunny and are now appealing on Facebook to find where it has come from.

It is thought the animal has escaped from a nearby house in the Broadmead Village area of the town.

The school says it has seen the rabbit in the car park on several occasions.

A statement said: "We would like to get in contact with the rabbit's owner to see if they are able to collect they rabbit and return it home safely."

Anyone with information can call the school on 01303 842400.
