Red Dwarf star Chris Barrie has joined the line up of guests at the Geek Fest in Folkestone next month, hosted by Planet Folkestone.
Barrie played Arnold Rimmer in the 1990s BBC sitcom set in space alongside Craig Charles and Danny John Jules.
Rimmer was killed at the end of the first series but appeared in future episodes as a hologram and was renowned for being unpopular with the rest of the crew.

On Saturday, May 10 - the weekend after Star Wars Day, May the Fourth (an allusion to the famous line “may the force be with you”) – guests from sci-fi shows, comics and films will head to Leas Cliff Hall for a huge convention.
They were recently in Folkestone filming a promo video for the event - which you can see below.
The festival will be raising money for The Rainbow Centre, which works with Folkestone churches to help support struggling families and Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Joining Mr Barrie will be other famous names from the world of sci-fi including Dave Prowse (Darth Vader), John Leeson (voice of Doctor Who sidekick K9), Doctors’ assistants Lalla Ward and Katy Manning.
