Search after woman was 'spat on in racial attack' on bus from Folkestone to Sandgate

Police would like to trace a man after a reported racial assault in which a woman was spat on.

Officers have released a CCTV image of a male they would like to speak to following the incident which happened on a bus in Folkestone at around 9pm on Thursday, July 9.

The woman was travelling from Folkestone to Sandgate when she claims she was racially abused and spat at by another passenger.

The incident was reported to Kent Police and officers have since carried out a number of enquiries in the local area.

They would particularly like to establish the identity of the man pictured in this image, who may be able to assist them with their enquiries.
