The moment a customer spat at a takeaway employee has sparked fury among residents.
The man reportedly lost his temper over not being given a cup of water in Folkestone on Monday.
Subway worker Aaron Wills shared CCTV footage of the vile incident.
"It all kicked off after I explained to the man that I was not able to give him a free cup of water due to people misusing our drinks dispenser," he explained.
"I told him I couldn't help, and that I was sorry, but he began to hurl abuse at me."
The video shows the moment the man shouted at Mr Wills, before spitting at his face.
He then turns and storms out of the store, leaving a shocked Mr Wills and a horrified onlooker standing in disbelief.
The footage has sparked fury online, with many people quick to praise the young man for not reacting to the "vile behaviour".
One resident said: "What a low life scum! You didn’t deserve that and you handled it better than I would have!"
Another added: "[Spitting] is now classed as ABH (Actual Bodily Harm) due to Covid.
"I'm so sorry you experienced this and I hope you get the justice you deserve."
Mr Wills told KentOnline: "Nothing much has changed since I posted the video but the man has been banned from the store.
"It was horrible, he made me feel sick in my own body."
