Now the work has finished to complete the song and edit the video Sarah Jane is now hoping to spread the word and promote the town.
She said: "A lot of work has gone into it and I have to say, I am really proud of the finished result.
"I think it shows what a great place Folkestone is, with great views, individual shops and restaurants and of course great pubs!
"It also acknowledges the hugely important part Folkestone played in the First World War."
The video includes several of Folkestone's landmarks and best sights from the mermaid overlooking Sunny Sands to the harbour, Martello Towers and of course the infamous resident seagulls.
Do you think the song is an accurate reflection of what's good about Folkestone?
