Asda car park in Folkestone cordoned off by police after a person reportedly fell from the roof

Emergency crews have been called to Asda in Folkestone following reports a woman has fallen from the roof of a car park.

Police, paramedics and the air ambulance were called to the scene in Bouverie Place around 4.45pm and the area is still closed.

A police spokesman said: "We were called at 4.47pm due to concern for the welfare of a woman who is reported to have fallen from the roof of a building."

Police confirmed several streets have been cordoned off.

The air ambulance is believed to have landed on the Leas.
