Taxi driver assaulted in Folkestone by men after night out at Cameo in Ashford

Officers are hunting for two men who assaulted a taxi driver in Folkestone after they been on a night out.

The pair had been picked up from the Cameo nightclub in Station Road, Ashford at 3am on Sunday, February 28.

When they were dropped off at Oxenden Road in Folkestone at around 3.20am one of them attacked the driver from the rear passenger seat.

He demanded money from the driver.

Police today released an e-fit of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

Both men are described as white aged between 25 and 30.

One was wearing a black jacket and light blue jeans and had straight hair and was taller than the other man.

The second man was wearing a black jacket and black jeans and had glasses, of average build, brown hair and a beard.
