Dr Who actor Tom Baker and Harrison Ford’s stunt man proved to be a huge draw for sci-fi fans in Folkestone on Saturday.

Thousands of people flocked to the third Folkestone Film, TV and Comic Con (previously known as Geek Fest) at the Folkestone Academy.

A talk and question and answer session with Mr Baker was the most popular of the attractions, closely followed by meeting stunt man Vic Armstrong.

Other guests from TV shows and films included actors from Red Dwarf, Star Wars and Dr Who.

One of the organising team from Planet Folkestone, Andy Butcher, said: “We were very honoured to have Tom Baker join us because he does not do many conventions. He was hugely popular – everyone came to see him.”
