A key route was closed both directions after an accident which injured three people.

The A2070 was shut between Ashford Road (Hamstreet) and A259 (Brenzett) after the collision at 9.47am.

The police and ambulance service attended, with traffic control describing the crash as a serious accident. Three people have been reported as injured.

The road has now re-opened.
