Suspected drug dealers from Hythe and Romney Marsh arrested in Folkestone

Three suspected drug dealers have been arrested following a police chase.

The chase started after a car failed to stop for officers in Forresters Way, Folkestone on Tuesday January 5.

The vehicle was found abandoned in the Longford Terrace area, and officers found and seized quantities of cash and wraps of suspected Class A drugs following a search of the car.

Mobile phoens and drugs paraphernalia were also found during the search, and the officers were able to track down the suspects.

A 24-year-old man from New Romney, and a man and a woman from ythe, 53 and 36 respectively, were all arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

The two people from Hythe were also further arrested on suspicion of driving offences.

All three were released on bail until 28 January while enquiries continue
