Two arrested after man stabbed near Folkestone Co-Op

Two men have been arrested after a man was stabbed in broad daylight.
Police are appealing for information following the incident in Folkestone earlier today.
Shoppers watched in horror as the alleged victim ran into the Co-Op on Cheriton Road for help shortly after the reported assault.
Eyewitness Jonathan Poole said: "I was shopping when a guy came in screaming for help after he was stabbed presumably outside .
"It was at the Folkestone Central Co-Op and police and ambulance were quickly in attendance."
The man had suffered a stab wound to his leg, which was treated at the scene before he was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford .
Officers, alongside paramedics, attended the scene just before noon.
Two men, one in his 20's and one in his 30's, have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm in connection with the incident.
They remain in custody while enquiries continue, and officers investigating the case are appealing for witnesses.
