Two men in hospital after ‘pieces of wood’ used in brawl in Harbour Street, Folkestone

Two men have been taken to hospital after “pieces of wood” were used in a seafront brawl.

Three people have been arrested after the fight at 7.15pm yesterday in Harbour Street, Folkestone.

It reportedly involved two women and two men, who were known to each other, and pieces of wood were used during the incident.

Officers attended and the men, aged 42 and 31, received first aid at the scene before being taken to hospital for further treatment.

Both men were arrested on suspicion of assault along with one of the women, aged 42.

They remain in custody as inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident continue.
