Man and woman on foot hurt in crash in Bouverie Road West, Folkestone

Two pedestrians were taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a car.

Police were called to the crash at a roundabout on Bouverie Road West, at the junction with Castle Hill Avenue, Folkestone, at around 4.40pm yesterday.

South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended and the man and woman were taken to hospital.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of careless driving and he has since been released pending further investigation.

Officers investigating what happened need to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision.
