A section of the A20 had to be closed for a second time today after a crash inside the Roundhill Tunnel led to 'emergency repairs'.
Emergency services attended the scene just after 11am, when two cars collided.
Both westbound lanes were closed while the vehicles were recovered.
The road was reopened at about 1.30pm - but both westbound lanes going through the tunnel had to be closed again.
A diversion was put in place.
Road users were advised to exit the A20 at the A260, and travel south towards the A260/A259 junction. At the roundabout, take the third exit and travel north on the A259 before rejoining the A20/M20 at junction 13.
Highways England tweeted: "A20 westbound (Roundhill Tunnel) is closed near Folkestone between the A260 and M20/A259 for emergency repairs following an earlier collision. Updates to follow."
