Robberies where a victim’s house was stormed and another had their fingers bent back in a street attack have been linked.

A 38-year-old man was robbed as he walked along St John’s Church Road, Folkestone, at about 7pm on February 15.

A woman approached him and was joined by two men, one of whom is reported to have grabbed the victim’s hand and bent his fingers back, enabling the other man to steal £23 cash.

The suspects are then alleged to have gone through his pockets and wallet while threatening further violence, before also taking a small quantity of tobacco.

Later that evening at about 10.15pm, a 61-year-old man living at an address in St John’s Street was also reportedly robbed by two men while a woman was present.

They are alleged to have burst into his home after the woman was allowed inside and pinned him to the floor before stealing £400 cash.
