Lyminge post office raided by burglars who stole cigarettes as police launch investigation

An investigation has been launched into a burglary at a village post office last night.
The break-in took place at the newsagents in Lyminge in the early hours of Friday morning.
The raid reportedly took place just after 3am at the shop in Station Road in the middle of the village near Folkestone.
Kent Police said "a quantity of cigarettes" were taken and that inquiries are ongoing.
It is understood nobody was injured in the burglary and no suspect descriptions have been released by police.
