Woman found dead in Folkestone woodland named as Svetlana Averina from Dover

A woman who was found dead in woodland has been named as Svetlana Averina.
The 32-year-old, of Balfour Road in Dover, was found at about 7pm last Tuesday night in land off Brabner Close, Folkestone.
Up to 15 police and ambulance vehicles were spotted at the scene, and officers closed off a path leading to the woods near a children’s play area.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
The inquest opening was held at Archbishop’s Palace in Maidstone yesterday, less than a week later.
The cause of death is “still pending analysis”.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called due to concern for the welfare of a woman in an area off Brabner Close in Folkestone.
"Officers attended the scene and were joined by a crew from the ambulance service.
"Upon arrival, the body of a woman was located and she was confirmed to be deceased at the scene.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and the matter has now been passed to the coroner."
